How it's done:
Following your dentist numbing the area which the filling will be placed, he will remove any decayed portions of the tooth. A special substance will then be applied to the tooth to help open up the pores and to help create a stronger bond with the filling. Once complete, the filling will be applied in thin layers are hardened in-between with a special UV light. After placement is complete, the filling will be smoothened and polished to ensure a natural and comfortable bite.
